Sir,
I am informed by Messrs Trumbull and Marmie, that they have a legal process to take possession of the stores and buildings occupied by the public at Pittsburg. Upon full proof of this being made to you, you will deliver up the stores to them according to law.
Mr Trumbull agrees that the public shall continue to use the said stores, paying therefor a reasonable rent, for which you will have fixed, in the manner that shall be agreed upon by you and them.
