Sir,
I have received your letter of the 8th instant.
On the 9th instant a quantity of Shells and lead were forwarded to Fort Pitt agreeably to the enclosed Schedule. in a few days I shall send on forty or fifty barrels of powder. Those Store when they arrive at Pittsburg, you will immediately forward [strikethrough: them] to Fort Washington to the orders of Major General St Clair.
