Know all men by these presents that I Elizabeth Robins Widow of John Robins late of York County in the State of Virginia, do hereby constitute, nominate & appoint Peter Mansfield of New Town in the State of New York my lawful attorney for me & in my name & for my Proper use & behalf, to ask & receive from the Commissioner of the army accounts what ever sum or sums of money may be now due to me in right of my deceased husband aforesaid, take Certificates of the fourth agreements of Degrees of the United States, & finally to settle all accounts now depending in the premises & receipts for the same to give in the same manner as if he as personally present & I do hereby confirm all the actings doings of my attorney in the Premises given under my hand & seal the twelfth day of September 1791
