Document 1791Knox informs McGillivray, a Creek headman and interpreter, that Andrew Ellicott will be surveying the boundary line until his brother Joseph can join him. Since the boundary was established by the Treaty of New York, it is hoped that the Creeks will cooperate in drawing the line and will assist in maintaining peace on the southwestern frontier.
