Sir,
As Major general Butler and the Quarter Master General have descended the Ohio, the duty of forwarding the troops and Stores will devolve upon you, as well as receiving and forwarding dispatches to this office and Head quarters.
I shall give you timely information of the march of the troops — about one company will march from this, about the tenth instant.
Let me know every thing which may be for the public interest.
