Sir —
Your Letter of the 4th is come to hand and is now before me — My Money must or be plac'd in the Bank — if you estimate all demands mine must of course remain in your hands, this will be essentially necessary as my family calls now that I am about to descend the river, where for ought I know I may remain for many months — besides I have no idea of it, the money remaining entirely useless — I have not time to be particular, but shall write you again when more at Leisure — the receipts shall be attended to — the Seals came safe to hand — the Post calls — a dieu —
I am Sir,
Your most Obedt Servant
