Sir,
If my Mare Should have arrived & Mr Ivan Davis not agree to take her to his own account for such, as we may hereafter agree on — Mr Pickering Should not be permitted to take her on the Same terms — Deliver her to Save expence on Keeping to the person that brings you this Letter — he goes express from hence and returns again immediately — if She Should want it Let him have five Dollars to pay his expences on the road — I wrote you last Knox by this conveyance about the Bells wanted for the Pack horses — if you have not yet got them I have recommended their being made in Lancaster — they will be better and cheaper — See him on the Subject — the Straps Should be placed with a buckle and be about 6 Inches wide — Boyer is arrived — my things all came safe —
