[Letter from S. Abigdon to William Knox, June 23, 1791]
Sr, Pitsburg 23 June 1791
I should have been glad to have received your return — but your apology is a sufficient one —
I shall be glad to receive all the additional supplies you mention — but the Pack Saddle Business is a work of Superrogation — the rope is wanted and will be an acquisition — the tents I cannot divine the use of, but conclude it must be right —
I shall call on Duff for his receipt — I am greatly disappointed in not hearing from Mr Edisworthy — indeed my duty is too hard — I can not do all out doors and in — A hopeful son his way — I have only two hours to do all that goes by the Post at this time — Boyer is not yet arrived but I expect him with the waggon to morrow — I shall write you fully by the mail conveyance at present it is impossible —
I am your freind and very
Humble Servant
