By the returns made to this office by the Commi[ss]ioner of Loans for the State of Kentucky, it appears that Lieutenant Garret Hinckson an Invalid Pensioner is only entitled by his certificate to a pension at the rate of five Dollars per month
In your return dated 30 Janry 1790 and transmitted to this office, said Hinckson was inserted at the rate of 10 Dollars per month, which makes an obvious difference — and as the official returns of the respective States are the file, based on which a letter from this office is to be formed I must thank... to examine this case, and to inform me as soon as possible.
