I have little doubt but that a quantity of Oats may be purchased either at Redstone or Other places upon the Monongahala where I have Contracted for boats, the price I expect will not excied 16/ bushels, however I Shall be better able to Inform you in a few days as will the terms as the places at which oats may be purchased. it will be very Convenient to put them on board the boats provided packages are not necessary, I apprehend they may be put on board a light boat
