Sir, Custom House,
Savannah, June 10th, 1791.—
I inclose a receipt of Lieutenant David McLane, dated the 14th ultimo, for Sixty Dollars, and the first of a set of bills drawn on me by Richard Call of the same date, for One hundred and twenty Dollars, making together One hundred and eighty five Dollars, being the amount of Nine Post Notes transmitted by you the 17th March last, and for which, agreeably to your desire, I gave those Officers the Cash.
You will also herewith receive two receipts of Captain John Smith, dated the 2d of November last for Seven hundred and ninety five Dollars, and two others of Captain Joseph Savage dated the 25th of February last for Eight hundred and fifty nine dollars.—
