No. 94] Sir, Custom House, Savannah, June 10^th, 1791.— I inclose a receipt of Lieutenant David McLane, dated the 14^th ultimo, for Sixty Dollars, and the first of a set of bills drawn on me by Richard Call of the same date, for One hundred and twenty Dollars, making together One hundred and eighty five Dollars, being the amount of Nine Post Notes transmitted by you the 17^th March last, and for which, agreeably to your desire, I gave those Officers the Cash. You will also herewith receive two receipts of Captain John Smith, dated the 2^d of November last for Seven hundred and ninety five Dollars, and two others of Captain Joseph Savage dated the 25^th of February last for Eight hundred and fifty nine dollars.— Sam, Sir, with respect.
