Dunscomb] Richmond June 10. 1791 Dear Sir I have with some degree of anxiety waited your advice relative to my several applications for a settlement of the claims enumerated in my several letters, they being subjects of perpetual trouble. I must again request you would attend to the several claims mentioned and enumerated in my letters; and when you are on the business let me dew upon to make a list of the whole, take them under your serious consideration and inform which can now be settled and the reasons if any that prevent a general Settlement. You will much oblige me by an attention to this matter; it will be ameens of a final determination of some and the placing others in a fair way of adjustment. From the inclosures you will be enabled to judge of the consequences of not making a general Settlement of Subsistence from the return that I made, applications of the kind I expect will be continually made. I am therefore desirous that some effectual and satisfactory mode might be adopted that would only require sending on the accounts on claims to insure an adjustment.
