when at Philadelphia I mentioned an Order I had drawn on Colo Beatty in favour of Mr Thomas Heart, which was lodged with you for Payment but in our Settlement I did not recollect it & it was not deducted from my Pay, — on enquiry I find the Order is still the Property of Mr Thomas Heart was sent in trust & it is of [undecipherable: consequence] whether paid there or here — therefore if not already paid beg you will not pay it —
