It is not [undecipherable] in my power to inform you whether the bearer Warham Strong is the same person who Served in Colonel Willet Regt. but from the Character I have received of him from Several officers of Genl Haveman Regt. from which he was Honorably discharged (& recommended to the State of Connecticut for a Commission) I am of opinion he would not impose on a public officer.
