The Secretary advises being absent for a day or two, Directs the honor to acknowledge the receipt of your letter to him dated the 31st Ultimo with the inclosures.
Mr Hodgdon the Supplies Master, will about this morning for Pittsburg and will render his journey in order to make whatever arrangements may be found necessary in his department and to receive your further commands.
By the next post the Secretary a will will write you more particularly.
