By direction of the Sec for the Department of War I have transmitted you the first Bills of exchange drawn by the Treasurer of the U.States, on John Habersham Esq Collector for the Port of Savannah for the Sum of One Thousand Seven hundred and eighty four dollars & [undecipherable] Cents which Sum is in full of the pay due [strikethrough: the] the Officers, Non Commiss'd & privates of Captain Joseph Savage's Company of Artillery, agreeable to the enclosed [undecipherable] which is taken from the Accounts [undecipherable] by me with Capt.
