Altho I have not the honor
of being personally known to you, the
extraordinary Nature of the Subject
I have to address you with I presume, and
hope to [undecipherable] you, that I——

his Excellency the Secretary at War
for the United States, to the Six
Nations, and Nine Tribes of Indians,
inhabiting the lands on the borders
of Lake Erie & One of these Messages
are particularly sent to the Indians,
now with me, appealing to have both
the Americans, and well [undecipherable]
People it to [undecipherable] Desires
of [undecipherable] [undecipherable], the [undecipherable] &c
of the United States, that a Peace
should be established on the lasting
Terms of Justice & [undecipherable] than
any [undecipherable]. And to accomplish
the Same, I am commissioned to conduct
