Providence 25^th April 1791 Having so good an opportunity as presents by my friend Col^o Drake who setts out in the Morning for Philadelphia I take the Liberty again to call your attention a few moments Respecting my claims against the United States, as also that of Mess^rs Rufello & Clark & Nightingales which with my own, I had the Honor to transmitt you by M^r Barnum in December last, your compliance to with my Request and finding the money by Order of Col^o Drake, who will your Receipt in my behalf, will Render me a very particular and especial service, and is not my Situation particularly distressd, I should not now trouble you on this Subject, but have thus waited with patience untill you was now at Leisure —— My troubles amounts have been Ready since July last, but not having the leffer biance, am I did not think proper to transmitt them, which I now remark is That the Vouchers to the tunes of Col^o Drakes the Balance due the United States as it was, or Thirty five Dollars & 8 cents, which I can [proposal] depends Cole Drake to [undecipherable] out of the money he [undecipherable] on my account from you — But &c &c &c or whatever amount I think might require to be allowed me in addition to the 35 D^o to compensate for the [undecipherable] following [undecipherable] [undecipherable] of your [undecipherable] [undecipherable] [undecipherable] Olho Olho Roet — [undecipherable: S.David?] Drakes will which Col^o D [undecipherable] Discount [undecipherable] out of the money he will Receive of you on my account — P.S.
