One hundred and thirteen units of clothing and tents for one company, were sent from this city yesterday by land, to Winchester in Virginia and the same quantity to Hagerstown and the quantities necessary to complete each Battalion will be forwarded in ten days hence. I have not received any information of the Lines of this state - part of the clothing has been forwarded and the remainder will follow in quick succession- One hundred levies of the Jersey battalion will march from Trenton on the 20th or 26th and about the same time the companies of Armstrong and of the State of Delaware, and I shall tomorrow send some person to march those who shall be at Carlisle, much injury has arisen for want of a Major at that place.
