5 Letter War Office 20th April 1791 No 7 War Department,20th April 1791 Sir One hundred suits of clothing have this day been forwarded by Mr. Hodgdon to your address, and also tents for one company. These are to be delivered to Major Clarke’s battalion of Levies, whom you are to muster and inspect. I have for this purpose forwarded you muster and inspection rolls You will take proper receipts for all articles delivered the levies. You are to understand that the arms and accoutrements which have been forwarded to you are for the use of the levies. You will therefore deliver them upon the returns of the officers, and also a due proportion of ammunition.
