Boston 20th Feby 1794
Sir
By the last Post I received your favour of the 8th instant, with the [strikethrough: a list of] Invalid Pensioners of the United States residing in this State; I shall conform to your instructions respecting the payment of the same — of the many persons who have called upon me in consequence of your advertisement the greatest part have inquired whether I should pay the arrears due them; by your instructions I find myself impowered only to pay what is due for the last year — if any difficulties should arise in the execution of this appointment I shall take the freedom to apply for information —
with great respect I am Sir your most humble Sert N A. E.
