The purport of this, is to introduce to you the Bearer M^r Joseph Jaudenes, with whom you are already acquainted. This young Gentleman returns to that Country, & takes his Nephew M^r Joseph Santayana, with him, both having Commisions from His Majesty, and as their residence will be fixed in that City, permit me to recommend them to you as worthy of your kind attention. their private virtues and amiable character, have attached me to them in a particular manner, therefore any services you may be pleased to render them will for ever be esteemed & acknowledged as if conferred on me.
