I must inform you I had the Honour of Commanding their Militia on the Late Expedition & I must in Justice to their good Conduct say that they effected & got the thank of the Genl They have My Thanks & I Think deserve the aplause & Esteem of their Country as for my Worthy friend Majr Paul I cannot say too Much in his favour for his Distinguished behaviour as a Valuable Officer & Good disposition. as for Particulars I shall refer you to Majr Paul. & believe me To be with Esteem
