Description

Expresses mortification at the unsoldier-like behavior of many of the men in the army, who make it a practice to straggle from camp in search of plunder. Harmar forbids this practice. Guards will be answerable to prevent it. Plunder will be collected and distributed equally amongst the army. Kettles and other articles taken will be collected by commanding officers and turned over to Mr Belli, the Quarter Master, that a fair distribution may take place. Rolls are to called and every man absent to be reported. Army to march for new encampment at Chillicothe.
