          Last Evening the Beef Cattle arrived at Fort Recovery but not the Pack horses; in Order to hasten the Supplies of Beef Major Price moves with only a part, undecipherable of the Strongest of them
          Our Sick both of Officers and privates are Astonishing by multiplied so that I dont expect to march from this place with more than 200 privates and the Horses

fairing to weak and almost continued moving for a month past without corn are in a very shattered condition, two thirds of the men will be obliged to foot if from this place to head quarters indeed the Horses have become so Weak & poor that nothing can be expected of them on the way of conveying flour. I have frequently pafsed the matter to the Officers to undecipherable what they could out of their respective commands but not a Single Horse can be found

          Col. Ohara writes one from Greenville that the amount of the Packhorses will be upwards of four hundred and the Bullocks nearly that number  

The way is ten miles further that I expected to find it and shall be all anxiety till I deliver my share
