War Office 1^st July 1790. Sir I have just received your two favor dated at Richmond the 5^th of June having inclosures for M^r Dillet and the post draft in favor of William Kirk Esq^r for five hundred Dollars which shall be paid. I approve of your furnishing such small articles of Cloathing as the Troops may want untill they arrive here. They will be fully clothed at this place. You will have received some of my letters dated the 9^th Instant: keep an attentive eye on Captⁿ Le— Present my compliments to Colonel M^cGillivray and the other Chiefs.
