Your fav. of 25th Ulto. with its enclosures
has been received — The Secretary of the Treasury has furnished
me with only 1854 Dollars for the purposes mentioned in your
Two Warrants of 25th May last — I have lately paid three Invalids
their first Moiety of Pension, & from Some others I expect will
soon Apply — the Second moiety I shall pay as directed — should
I ascertain the death of any of the Invalids I will give you inform
ation agreeably to your Request —
