There were some foreign officers who left the service previously to the 10th of April 1780. I request to know whether any such have had the depreciation of pay made good to them — Brigadier General La Neuville, and his brother Lieutenant Colonel La Neuville, the first of whom left the service in 1778, and the other in 1780, have written to me on this subject — I will thank you for an answer immediately.
