Letter to Hon.ble Secretary
at War, enclosing a list of
the Invalids, paid to 15th April
1790.
Sir Providence 15th April 1790
Agreeably to your direction of 29th January last,
I have the Honor to Transmit you an exact List of Such the
Invalids of Rhode Island who have applied for & received the first
Moiety of their Annual Pension commencing on the 5th day
of March 1789, amounting to Eleven Hundred & fifty one Dollars.
The other Eleven Included in your Warrant having not yet applied
Some of Whom I find are absent at Sea others are Removed out of
the State &c and George Lawton I have been informed Died as long
ago as the 25th day of December 1786, & it is probable that Some of
the others may also be Dead. Should I find that to be the case I
will acquaint You accordingly. —
