Copy Letter Jno. Nicholson Esq. April 3d 1790 Entd Office of Army Accounts New York 3d April 1790 On examining the charges exhibited by the State of Pennsylvania against the United States, for depreciation granted to her late line there appear a number that are not vouched, neither can the names of the persons to whom the Certificates are said to be delivered, be found on the Musters - for your information I have enclosed a list of the names & the sums paid charged, if you have any evidence before you that will establish this claim I wish it may be forwarded soon. There are other objections to this account which as they arise shall be transmitted.
