Mr Henry Swan
I have this day received your letter of the 26 Inst. wherein you request to be informed if the accounts of Coll Henry Lee have been settled & incase they are not to forward to you the accounts & papers left with me. — I have to inform you that I know of no accounts or papers belong to the person you allude to Neither has any accounts of this nature been settled in this office — I conceive you must be mistaken in respect to the papers being put into my hands, for had they been, they would certainly would be filed in [undecipherable: position] but which they are not, neither are they on file with the accounts unsettled in this Office.
