Sir, The Indents in my poffeffion On the 13^th Novem.^t 1789 I had the Honor to addrefs you relative to a fum of money on Indents and [the] Emiffion Money being in my hands, returned by sundry Officers on their acceptance of penfions & on fettlement of their Accts The Indents have been returned by the following [strikethrough: Removed Officers &c] The late Commiffioners of Army Accts is charged in the Books of this Office with the fum of 647.36/90 dollars, on Indents returned by the following named Officers who have accepted a Penfion — Viz Captain Silas Clarke — Maffachufetts line — Dols 14. Lieut: David Hammond — Penn^a 3 — 25.36 Capt: James Gregg — N.York — 48. Lt.Colo. Silas Talbot — R. Island — 3 — 384. Captain William McKennan — Delaware 3 — 168. Dol. — 647.36/90 The late Commiffioners is also charged in the fum of 10,260 dollar R.B Emiffion and the fum of £264.12. So Carolina old Currency received from the following named Officers on fettlement of their Accounts — Viz of Major Allen — R. Island line — Dols 2.260. Brought in 2.260 of Colo Grimke — So Carolina lin — Dol. 6000 Henry Gray paymasters to the 2^d Rg South Carolina — 2000 10.260 Ditto ditto — £264.12.
