ToThe HonorableThe Genl Board of CommissionersFeby 10. 1790 Entd Office of Army AccountsNew York 10th Febr 1790 Gentlemen On examining the accounts of the late Army as settled by the late Commissioner and his assistants I find that an allowance [undecipherable] the Officers & Soldiers on the New Emissions received by them in the manner following To the Officers & those of the [insert undecipherable] Eastern States, generally in March 1781 at 1 10/15, May 2 1/2 and October at 5 for 1.– To those of New York: To those of New Jersey March @ 1 10/15 & June 1781 @ 5 for 1 To those of Penna May @ 5 & October 1781 @ 27 for 1. To those Maryland June & July @ 5 for 1 and to those of Vaga Jany @ 1 5/15 April @ 2 4/15 and Septemr 1781 @ 3 for 4 for 1. a reference to the Accounts settled at the Treasury will give your Honble Board much information on this subject– I have [undecipherable] the Accounts of the States of Rhode Island and New Hampshire [undecipherable] take delivery thereof Massachusetts & New Jersey are in great forwardness and those of New York only [undecipherable] & Delaware are suspended until some for want [undecipherable} of information may be obtained from the Auditors of these States, which when obtained will maybe closed in a few days.
