[5528]
Sir
Sometime since, you purchased of me a number of Hollands surveys of the coast of North America, in sheets; but as there was not a whole sett, and I suppose you would be glad to own one that is compleat, I take the liberty to inform you that I am now in possession of a Sett that contains the whole Coast of North America; properly bound together, coloured & [undecipherable] in 4 long folio Volumes, which I should be glad to dispose of. The person of whom I had them, assures me they cost £33 Sterling in London, and I don't know of another Sett for sale in Boston. My friend Mr. Sylvanus Bourn, who will deliver you this letter, has seen them, and can give you a particular account of what they contain: If you should incline to purchase them, I will sell the whole for £30. Massachusetts lawfull money, which you will observe is [£]3 lawfull [less] than they cost Sterling; if you are already supplied, perhaps some friend of yours would be glad to purchase them; your mentioning it, shall esteem a favor; if you can spare a minute from your more important business, shall be glad of a line in answer to this.
I have the honor to be with every Sentiment of respect, Sir
Your Most Obt. hum. Servt
Thos. Walley
