ascertain the sum advanced by the state and the balance that may be due them
agreeably to our instructions
statement of the whole amount of the invalid pensions advanced & paid to this state
honor to inform you that we were appointed at the last session of the honorable general assembly a committee for the purpose of settling the accounts
make a return of to you of those now paid by this state
have not been able to settle the accounts as yet
having completed the return we now inclose it containing 59 invalids that have been inspected agreeably to an ordinance of congress
removed from this state
noted in the said return against their respective names
continued to pay their pensions
others are since dead
pensions of consequence cease
invalids who have not yet passed the inspection required
whom we are authorized to call upon to appear in person
able to examine their pretensions
your letter to his excellency the governor on the subject of the invalids being in his possession
