Sir

   The Secretary of the Treasury has informed me that he has write to you on the payment of the first (indecipherable) of the Invalid Pensionsers within the State of Rhode Island and that he has arranged with you (indecipherable) funds for that purpose. 

  I shall transmit your a list of the said Pensioners which has been received at this office, which is exactly to govern your payments. 
  The vouchers contained in the enclosed advertisement will be  essential (indecipherable) every payment_ If the printers should neglect to insert the said advertisement you will cause it to be (indecipherable) inserted

in the Newspaper which has the most general circulation in the State of Rhode Island and the (indecipherable) thereof shall be reimbursed you by the public. As it is to be presumed that the said payments will generally be punctually demanded and as it is necessary that as accurate information as possible should be received of the amount thereof previous to the payment in June next, you will please on or before the 15th day of April ensuing to transmit to this Office and exact list of the names and residence of the Invalids to whom or on whose account you have made payments and of the sum to each __ The lists shall be transmitted to you from this office by the 17th of next month Or otherwise further information shall be transmitted to you on the subject.
