Sir,
I now inclose an account N° 1 settled by [undecipherable] and [undecipherable] [undecipherable] Delaware Regiment for [undecipherable] [undecipherable] is also inclosed with enlistments for [undecipherable] Men.
I also inclose sundry enlistments for Capt Thomas Hollands company, amounting to 720 dollars. He recevd 520 dollars from George Read Esq; you will recollect he was killed at the Battle of [undecipherable].
There is also inclosed Capt Robert Richards's Affidavit respecting the expenditure of £99: 10: 0. which he received from George Read Esq Likewise Three enlistments returned by Capt John Corso for an equal number which appears to belong to Major Joseph Vaughan's Company. (Vaughan has been dead several years.)
You will be pleased to examine these accounts and return to me the amount of what you admit to the credit of the States and such an account as will enable me to settle with the officers. I am Sir, Your obedient and humble [servant]
