Your favor of the 23d instant, and sundry Papers sent therewith, came safe to hand, and agreeably to your request I now transmit the accounts rendered by Mr Yeates, late Paymaster of the Delaware Regiment. Not being furnished with a Clerk, and receiving but a small salary from the State, I cannot undertake to Copy them; but send them as they came into my hands. If the State should have occasion for

I observe Colo Pope has settled with old Yeates for 592 dollars the second from George Read Esqr Lieut James Campbell received the 200 dollars from George Read Esqr which are charged to Capt Anderson, and has accounted for them in a Recruiting Account, No 2 rendered to John White late district Commissioner, except a balance of 19 7/90 dollars, which he acknowledges as a debt due to the State.
