Mercer Dec.^o 8. 1789] Pittsburgh December 8. 1789— Sir I find that thirty eight Dollars has been deducted out of, pay, which ought to be refunded, as I drew that money for Cap^t Luce and paid it to him and took his receipt for it which I shall enclose both Cap^t. Bealy and M^r. Luce inform me that sum was charged to M^r. Luce and deducted out of his pay.
