War Point April 6. 1790 Sir Captain Dreibach informs me that there are more months pay for the Detachment of Artillery, Effect West Point— enclosed is a List of the Mens Names— and should you think Proper that I should Pay them I have given M^r Henry Cunningham an Order to receive the same— I am S^r The Honorable Major Jos Knox Sec^y at War --- War Point April 8. 1790 Sir I now forward the returns of Ordnance & Quarter Master Stores for the month of March 1790. I had to employ M^r Morrow to do some work to the Carriage which you directed, before the Sent away, but have not yet his Receit yet, but will have that and the One for making the Camp Kettle hereafter shortly— I informed you in my last that I had Sent for Doct^r Adams but he was not at home— I therefore now add the necessity of Sending for Some Other, as the present for D^r Doct^r Cooke & Parks there who is now here— I am S^r The Honorable Major Jos Knox Sec^y at War --- West Point June 6. 1790 Sir M^r James Morrow has made his Receit for mending the Carriage, making the Seven Harness and one hundred Camp Kettles which is here enclosed— There is an Israelit Soldier here by the Name of Christian Beltje he came here last January and went away in March without permission— he has now returned again and informs me that you this time to come been again and he Ought have Samples, I Clothing— for the present I have [undecipherable] to give him again upon our Barracks—
