War Point April 6. 1790 48 Sir Captain Dreibach informs me that there was no monthly pay for the Detachment of Artillery left at West Point. Enclosed is a list of the Mens Names — and shall you think proper that I should pay them I have given M^r Henry Cunningham an Order to receive the same — I am &^c The Honorable Major Gen^l Knox Sec^y at War --- War Point April 8. 1790 — Sir I now forward the returns of Ordnance & Quarter Masters Stores for the Month of March 1790 — I had to employ M^r Morrow to do the work to the Carriages which you directed, but he has led and away, but have not yet his acct yet, but was hear that and the one for making the Camp kittles hereafter shortly — I informed you in my last that I had sent for D^r Adams but he was not athena — I therefore now add the necessity of sending for some others, as the want for the D^r Coolen & his Brothers who is now here — I am &^c The Honorable Major Gen^l Knox Sec^y at War --- West Point April 6. 1790 Sir M^r James Morrow has made his acct for mending the Carriages making the Seven horse and one hundred Camp kittles which is here enclosed — There is an Israelite Juden here by the Name of Christian Welpe — he came here last January and went away in March without permission — he has now returned again and informs me that you did him to come here again — as he says he has a receipts — I Challenge the question — I have [undecipherable] to give him again upon this Service —
