Know all Men by these presents that I George Francis late a private in the late Pennsylvania Regiment and in the Service of the United States have Entitled to lands by Sundrie Resolves of Congress that was made and Awarded. Have made Ordained Constituted appointed, and by these presents do make Ordain Constitute and appoint John Webster of Westmoreland County and State of Pennsylvania my True and faithful Attorney for me and in my name to make application to the proper Officers for a warrant for the aforesaid land, in Order to have the Same Surveyed, to Survey the Said land, to proceed to himself agreeable to appointment [undecipherable] and to Substitute one or more Attorneys in his power and to Ratify what him and Either Such Legal Substitute Attorneys Shall or may do, Manage the Same as fully as I could if Personally present and after everything to give which Sufficient and full Commission and Discharge and for me and in my name to Sign and Seal Execute deliver on a new Attorney or Attorneys as to him to Substitute and assign the Said Premises to Reckon and further to make and Agree to those things which Shall or may be Needfull touching and Concerning the Premises as amply fully and wholly as if I my Self were personally present Ratifying allowing and Confirming whatsoever any Such Attorney Shall Lawfully do or Cause the Done in and about the Premises in the same as full an Entire Indemnified Signed Sealed and delivered the year of our Lord one Thousand Seven hundred and Ninety
