War Point April 6. 1790 Sir Captain Durfee informs me that there was no monthly pay for the Detachment of Artillery Effect West Point. enclosed is a list of the Mens Names and should you think Proper that I should pay them, I have given M^r Henry Cunningham an Order to receive the same — I am Sir The Honorable Major Gen^l Knox Secret^y at War --- War Point Apri^l 8. 1790 — Sir I now forward the return of Ordnance & Quarter Masters Stores for the Month of March 1790 — I had to employ M^r Marrow to do the work to the Carriage which you directed. then to the last day, but have not yet his Acct yet, but will have that and the One for making the Camp Kettle hopefuls Shortly — I informed you in my last that I had sent for Scott adams but he was not at home — therefore you added the necessity of sending for some others, and has sent for One D^r Cooke & perhaps there who is now here — I am M^r The Honorable Major Gen^l Knox Secret^y at War --- War Point Apri^l 6. 1790 Sir M^r James Marrow has made his Acct for mending the Carriages making the Seven Haven and one hundred Camp Kittles which is here enclosed — There is an Invalid Soldier here by the Name of [undecipherable] Butler he came here last January and went away in March without permission — he has now returned again and informs me that you this time has been again — he thinks have [undecipherable] & Children — for the present I have [undecipherable] to give him again upon our former [undecipherable]
