Document 1789Informs the Secretary at War that Mr. Garrison has drawn an order in favor of James Johnston. Also mentions that he has received the military stores agreeable to the invoice.

West Point January 6th 1789 33 Sir/ I received your letter of 12th Ultimo by Mr Benjn Rose, also the Military Stores agreeable to the Invoice, all in good Order I now forward by the Beaver Mr Ketchum the Returns of Ordnance and Quarter Masters Stores for the Month of Decem ber 1788 Mr Garrison has drawn an Order in favour of Mr James Johnston for the Amount of his Account, for the last Winters Wood Mr Brown has drawn an Order in favour of Mr Timothy Ketchum for the Amount of his Account for Mak:g the 200 fouder Casks I am sir &c The Honorable Major Genl Knox Secretary at War
