J Howell esq Trenton January 1 1789 Sir There is an action depending between Colo Mathias Ogden of the first Jersey Regiment on myself, which occasions me to solicit you to furnish me with a certified copy of his account from your Books. both Debt & Credit as it stands registered in your office, you’l please to give it to Turman Yards who will inclose it in a letter to me please also inform me when I may call for my certificates in consequence of the accounts left with you some time past, any expence attending this business shall be paid by me your complyance in this will oblige your humble servant.
