Eleazer Hudson who was a soldier in Holmes's company in the first Connecticut regt in the continental army and Jno Herron who served in Richards's company in 1st regt are intitled to Pensions on acco of disabilities contracted in the service of the United States, and having been so unfortunate as to lose their discharges, desire me to write you, requesting a certificate of the time they were discharged — a certificate of this kind forwarded by the bearer, will do them essential Service — & oblige
