The Officers of Colonel Moylan's Regimt citizens of Virginia having been settled with by that State and by me from the Va regr so to the 1 Jany 1782 makes it indispensably necessary, that a recision of their accounts should take place; I have therefore to request you will deliver Mr O. Hara (one of the gentlemen of this office) the Certificates which may remain in your hands issued for Benjamin Temple, Lawrence Travis, Alex Trumbley, David Hopkins Erasmus Gill, Thomas Overton.— Mr O'Hara will give you a receipt in my name for them.
I wish you to inform me if you have granted the depreciation of pay to Lt. Niel Morris of the old second Regiment & a Supernumerary Officer— if you deducted from him the sum of Ten 7/90 dolls which was Due from him to the United States.—
