I understand by Majr Fullerton that you refuse paying my detained final Settlements on Acct of Col Woods not selling his acct. It rather hard that I should suffer on his account. I never had any acct with Col Wood But one recruiting and that I settled. If it interferes with your Interest I would not ask them I assure you But I cant see in what manner the possible can, I have reason to believe that Col. Wood is in that way that he never will or Can Settle. Majr Fullerton will give you the reason why he Cant; if that be the Case I shall look my Settlements which I hope you'l consider & if its in your power I hope you'l put them into the hands of Mr Fullerton or who he m[ay] please to appoint to receive them I am
