The following named Men of the late German Regiment has received Certificates at the Treasury for balance of pay to 1st Jany 1799 and to the time of their several discharges.
If any of the above should have been included in the 2. Regiment I will thank you to retain their Certificates if not to date.
I wrote you on the at [undecipherable] relative to an application of one Madam Montgomery whose husband was killed in Service. I will thank you for an answer as soon as convenience will permit, the Woman will not let me rest since I informed her of writing to you on her behalf.
