Sir
I have heard that a Number of Certificates for pay from August 1780 till Jany 1781 of Privates of the German Fusileer Regt which were delivered to Majr Rowan of Hartley and which are now in my hands, have been erroneous and drawn thro' Mistake. I have delivered out some which were of the German Rcement and fear I have done what ought not to have been done, but I know it not, and I have again assisted some of them until I hear from you.
